Websites are all different and as such, the hosting needs can differ greatly. For example, a one-page CV-style website with a small block of text and perhaps one photo is an entirely different kettle of fish than a shop website that sells thousands of items showcased with images and videos. So, which hosting package should you choose?

Website hosting can be massively changeable so finding something that suits all of your needs should be easy with a good hosting company. We are always on hand to look over your usage and help you get the best you can for your money.

There are a few kinds of hosting packages from shared hosting, where you share a server with others all the way to dedicated hosting where you get a server all to yourself.

To help work out what your needs are think about what resources you’ll need. Figuring out how much bandwidth and disk space you need while allowing some room for growth will give you a good start. You can even think about how many email addresses you’ll need as some shared hosting packages only include a few email accounts.

If you’re new to websites and hosting it might be a good idea to think about whether or not having some maintenance assistance would be beneficial to you. This can at the very least free your time from running updates on plugins.

As always, please get in touch if you have any questions or need some help.
